On a serene Wednesday evening, August 6, 2025, the Bahá’ís from Naperville and surronding communities came together in love and remembrance at the Naperville Cemetery to honor the lives of our cherished friends who have passed on. This heartfelt gathering was part of a new initiative by the Bahá’ís of IL-3 (Aurora Cluster), who are organizing devotional services at cemeteries throughout our region to offer prayers, reflect, and celebrate the enduring spiritual legacy of those laid to rest. The atmosphere was filled with reverence and unity as emotional prayers were shared, echoing the Bahá’í teachings of life after death and the eternal bond of the soul. Friends and families gathered at the front entrance near the small office and parking lot, arriving promptly at 6:15 pm to begin the evening of remembrance. We lovingly honored the following souls who rest at Naperville Cemetery:Ms. Linda SternMs. Farzaneh NazerianMs. Farideh PakbazMs. Vida ChapmanMr. Ralph ChapmanMr. Ahmad YazdiMr. Robert ChamberlinMr. Franklin LewisEach name was spoken with tenderness, each prayer offered with devotion.
